Utgangspunktet for turen til Mannen er Haukland Beach, parker på parkeringsplassen før tunellen. Gå over veien og følg grusveien oppover, du vil se stien når den kommer på venstrehånden din. // Haukland Beach is the starting point for this hike. Park on the parking lot before the tunnel. Cross the street and follow the gravel road up the hill, you’ll see the trail on you left hand. 

Turen er ca 4 km tur/retur // The hike is about 4 kilometers roundtrip.

Man følger ryggen til topps. // You’ll hike along the backside of the peak. 

Toppen er på ca 400 moh. //The summit is about 400 meters above sea Level.

Fra mannen ser man 3 fantastiske strender: Haukland Beach, Uttakleiv Beach og hele Yttersia. //Mannen overlooks three gorgeous beaches on Lofoten: Haukland Beach, Uttakleiv Beach, and all of Yttersia.
